Banking App

The viva.com banking app is the free money management app for using your viva.com cards, IBANs and more.

My role in this project was to redesign the Viva.com banking app to improve user engagement and usability. We aimed for a fresh and up-to-date look, based on Viva’s new design system, to make payments, transfers, card management, and other features easier for our users.

We conducted extensive research on our competitors to ensure that our needs were compatible with market demands. Additionally, we conducted internal user interviews with our colleagues to gather their opinions about our app and their needs.

Problem identification and research
I conducted user interviews and surveys to identify pain points and analyzed app usage data to understand user behavior.

 

Design and development
I developed wireframes and prototypes for new design concepts and collaborated with developers to ensure feasibility and technical alignment. After conducting usability testing with a diverse group of users, I iterated on the designs based on feedback, focusing on navigation and accessibility.

 

Final outcome
A new app design was delivered, receiving positive feedback. We are continuously reviewing key metrics to further enhance the app’s user flow and features.
